We are thrilled to welcome you to Women’s College Hospital’s Open House. You will have the opportunity to participate in engaging tours and hear directly from WCH experts about the latest advancements in healthcare.
Schedule:
- Registration: 5:00 pm
- Tours: 5:15 pm until approximately 6:30 pm
- Reception: 6:30 pm – 7:00 pm
Tours will be 15 minutes in length and will require walking; speaker presentations will be 15 minutes and will take place in our auditorium. Please see below for detailed information regarding tours and speakers.

The Centre for Wise Practices focuses on improving healthcare for First Nations, Inuit and Métis people by ensuring care is relevant, culturally safe and community informed.

The Crossroads Refugee Clinic
The Crossroads Refugee Clinic is Toronto’s first and only hospital-based clinic that provides comprehensive medical services for newly arrived refugees and refugee claimants in Toronto.
Mental Health & Art Therapy
WCH provides art therapy as an effective technique for approaching complex feelings or trauma through the mental health department.
Medical Imaging: MRI & CT
WCH’s medical imaging department provides around-the-clock imaging using large-bore MRI and wide-area detector CT scanners to produce high-resolution, 3D images of the human body.

Youth Programming
Stella's Playroom
Stella’s Playroom is a supervised, short stay “play zone” for children. This is a space for kids to have fun and hang out with a Registered Early Child Educator (RECE) while parents are on their tours.
Recommended for children under 12 years old.
Operation: Sports Medicine! A surgery adventure with a nurse
Join an operating room nurse for a hands-on, behind the scenes look at how WCH doctors help people move again.
Recommended for youth between 12-16 years old.
