Riding for a cause!
This year I’ll be riding in the 2024 Metals & Mountains cycling fundraiser benefiting the Women’s College Hospital Foundation.
Together, the team at WCHF is working to make a real impact in the community it serves. By sponsoring me, you’re helping to make healthcare more accessible, effective, and inclusive for everyone.
WCHF is dear to me not just because I was born here – but because of the groundbreaking work the hospital is doing in driving healthcare forward in our community. WCHF is building a more equitable and inclusive program by:
1. Launching Canada’s first virtual hospital: helping to increase reach and make services more accessible.
2. Transforming surgeries to be more inclusive: minimizing the recovery period of certain surgeries to allow patients to have a more successful recovery.
3. Building a provincial hub for critical networks such as Domestic Violence Care Centres, Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence Care Centres, and Substance Use care programs.
